anyways, this has always been the case. male homosexuality has always been seen as much more vulgar. I'm sure the majority of women would be uncomfortable knowing their male partner was sleeping with other men.

I think a lot of it has to do with toxic masculinity as well and the “gender roles” nonsense. I’ve seen a lot of people emasculate gay men because being gay is apparently effeminate?

I have been open and honest before, didn’t have a issue but that’s because they were progressive.
I think most cases tho it seems limiting.
yeah i can see that depending on the area, i’m usually with collage age people so i guess they tend to be more progressive about stuff like sexuality.
bisexual men and women are just seen differently while bisexual women are sexualised and fetishized. I mean i lost count of time i heard someone say how can you not be attracted to women, even from women it’s just seen more “natural” to people to be attracted to women so when a women is attracted to a girl its no big deal.

it doesn't matter whether or not it's relevant, the content that OP is consuming is directly correlative to the arguments (and quality of said arguments) he's gonna be espousing throughout this thread, that's why it's an issue
regardless, niggas itt have made great points, but i think another key piece as to why homosexuality is looked down upon is how prominent and dominant Christianity is/was, people are less religious nowadays, but i think a lot of Christian values and co were internalized by the populace at large overtime too
it's also funny to note that homosexuality in Christianity isn't even a shut and close issue, and it's actually something that's semi hotly debated among certain sects
