Well the economy is the lifeblood of the people and you know that. It’s how you get paid personally. I do like your joke for the record.

I hope he starts as soon as he gets in office. He better not wait around. I don’t want another lockdown but if it helps 2021 be a real year then let’s do it. Just hope he starts it early. Let’s rip the band aid off and get it done.

  • Nov 12, 2020

If this comes with the right stimulus it might actually start the end of the virus and help the economy

Run the lockdown from February 1 to mid March, then get as many people vaccinated as possible throughout the spring. Hell, if we get a vaccine earlier than expected, those 6 weeks could be dedicated to a massive vaccination initiative. The goal should be a relatively normal summer and beyond.

It was like a 2-3 week lockdown, which was half assed. Then you had 'essential' businesses coming up with ways to stay open.

Like the f***ing vape shop next to my job starting to sell snacks and 'groceries' because it's 'essential'

uhhh so whats the solution then?

I sure as hell don't have the solution lol I'm always hesitant to say a lockdown should be strictly enforced but also think a lockdown would probably help substantially so

I have a friend that's a copywriter at a furniture store, she still had to come in to work because "what if people are home and don't have any furniture to sit on"

Man can you go read something lol

Shutdowns help slow the spread but they dont eradicate the virus

That's probably what they wrote to the government too to get that verification.

Will never work with 70 million Trumpers.

America just needs to accept that it has pushed individualism too much for a total lockdown to be feasible.

Not sure what individualism has to do with sane behaviour. I guess you have an agenda.

doesn’t this mean the shutdown will start once he gets inaugurated though? I’m not sure if trump will really oblige by that rn

Force them to sign waivers that forcibly prevent them from getting medical help of any kind if they test positive for covid. just let it fly

    Damn, this would be perfect

Maybe not have medical services refused, but they would be put on lower priority.

As long as people and business are properly compensated for it, otherwise it will just sunk us deeper into economical recession.
