saw them live last year and it was sooooooooooooooooo magical, didnt have the original singer but the new girl killed it
This sounds so ahead of its time. I’d believe it if someone told me this was some 2010’s electronic indie pop group. @RVI

Dang yeah that's lovely. Does sound pretty modern. Surprised that you didn't think the same of Anima Latina.
Lester Bangs was an early Kraftwerk fan and credited the birth of rock and roll to Germany because they invented methamphetamine
Rockabilly wouldn't have happened without trucker speed
These guys became a yacht rock group after this, but they started as an interesting little proggy pop band. They kind of remind me of Jellyfish in the 90’s.

The 'werk on BBC
I never could get into them back in the day. Maybe I should try again.
This UFO album overall is kind of just standard hard rock, but there’s some gems for sure.

first Big Star's Third listen in years
The ballads are pretty well Ray Davies tier
dropping in to share the song I want played at my funeral

Speaking of Ray this album has some growers
deft tonal changes in this goofy bop

Waiting for you to get to Schoolboys.
Zeppelin was my favorite band as a kid, but I’m realizing that I don’t fully love any of their albums. The debut is pretty close though. That being said, they’re always nice to revisit. My two favorites from Physical Graffiti:

Oh and this underrated cut. The drumming alone is enough to make it a standout.

PG might be their opus

I’m pretty high on Houses for the most part, but Graffiti feels too disjointed. There’s something special about the debut that speaks to me. Then again I have strange taste in Zeppelin. My favorite songs from them are D’yer Mak’er and Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You.

D&C and Thank You the only songs off the first two I still like to hear. PG packed with gold.
I was looking up PG and apparently Bonham was the most pivotal contributor. Thought it was Pages baby but Bonzo is the one that helped them make all their ideas work.

I also just revisited Zep 4 and I know it’s a boring take, but that’s probably my favorite.
