first Bohemian Rhapsody listen in 400 years
Still stands way out with its crazy ass arrangement even after basking in all the art rock/prog etc of this era

yeah still a banger gotta love the hard rockin part
That Peter Hammill album was pretty damn good. Other than the one I posted last page, these were the standouts.

John Cale had a big year. I like Slow Dazzle more than Helen of Troy, but they both have some great songs.

And speaking of Cale, someone should have posted this last year. Overwhelmingly gorgeous. How do you only release this as a B-side?

guess the top 10 @RVI @suzuki @twinkletoez

No WYWH anywhere in the list
more simple and straightforward than prog innit?
Also no later stuff, just late 60s and 70s. Lots of borderline patch but no Tommy.

if DSOTM is prog then WYWH is prog
not really any argument to make against it especially when SOYCD takes up so much of the runtime

Tull disrespect is unacceptable
you better be checking out Minstrel in the Gallery for this year
really solid one and this is where they're bringing back tons of the brit folk sound

I don't have to put respect on JT after hearing Anderson talk down on Motown in borderline racist tones
already told you about that late 60s interview. Already didn't like them but especially didn't after hearing him act like his music was God's gift to humanity.

Mostly agree and would rank WYHW higher than DSOTM personally

the Elric classic of caring a lot about that kind of stuff when you already dislike the musician but not caring at all when it's someone you like ex: Costello
