Best song on that record. Really impressive. The bonus track “All The Colours of Darkness” is also a highlight worth checking out.

Where you at with Van
@Elric looks like maybe some VDG to digest for 1972 after all. non album single where the A-side was a... George Martin cover (a BBC radio theme). and the B-side is a normal song that was completed after Pawn Hearts but before they broke up for a few years

there are also a few bonus tracks from Pawn Hearts era that I havent peeped yet, apparently they wanted to have a double LP with partially live songs in the vein of Ummagumma

and Fool's Mate?
Van Morrison man
That’s so weird you say that cause I never connected with his music for years and just decided earlier today to revisit Astral Weeks. Finally hit me pretty hard. Madame George is one of the most beautifully arranged pieces of music ever.

These are the 2 bonus tracks I dug from that. Especially W.

That is very weird
I was listening to some major Van zenith earlier and it occurred to me that I have no idea what you think of him.
His last few albums were relatively lightweight compared to Astral Weeks but I need you to hear Listen to the Lion and especially Almost Independence Day from his 1972 album
pretty well Astral Weeks tier

Since Elric is locked into 70’s mode, you should check these out @RVI

ill peep if i can trade you some good s*** as well
trying to think
Oh, mama, pull those black silk stocking down
I wanna lick all around the stretch marks
Put the tongue between the toes

not sure what this sprawling concept album is about but pretty nice. pretty folky but more sax than i was expecting

Tim was really "sensual" on this album.
"Now you wanna know the reason
Why I cheated on you?
Well, I had to be a hunter again
This little man had to try
To make love feel new again"
