yeah your threshold for power pop and fey folk is much higher than mine but ill always revisit cause you never know when something will click

Well to be fair it’s not like they’re random lower tier examples of either that you’d need lower standards for, but rather some of the A listers in their respective sounds. Also Todd is a bit more varied. He can easily write an incredibly moving ballad (that I’d assume would be up your alley) or something a bit weirder, but just as engaging.

yeah I know they're a listers which just tells me im not really a power pop or fey folk guy. maybe I wouldn't even be a Neil stan if I wasnt raised on him. and aside from Big Star (who I prefer in ballad mode) the only power pop I really love is the proto stuff from Small Faces and Kinks etc.

Damn, well that’s all just the best music ever to me outside of the Baroque and Psychedelic stuff from the 60’s. It’s probably why I’m obsessed with The Lemon Twigs because they mix all of that effortlessly.
