overhated album
I don't see anybody hating on it but it's definitely underloved
Yeah, that's a pretty famous quote of his
I have doubts but am curious
I'm kinda agnostic so just apply my own vague ideas about the mysteries of the universe to the gospel or any religious music I'm listening to
Glad your mom's doing better, they're supposed to last for a long time
I'm also pretty agnostic and have a similar philosophy towards music of a religious/spiritual nature. Also a bit dubious of parts of that quote but Adveita has much less to do with an actual God than it has to do with the realization of non-duality, non-self, so it's hard to know what Harrison is really gesturing at using the word God in that context. The answer by Advaita is that there is only God. Each and everything is manifestation of it. The God (ॐ) in Advaita is Brahman (ब्रह्म). Brahman is one single undivided Spirit that is equally present in all beings. Yes it sounds like it's claiming something supernatural but today you can practice this in a purely secular way. Okay sorry for the philosophy lesson.
and thanks broski appreciate it. I think they do.
overhated album
say it again for the ones in the back!

yeah and they kicked Pinder out of the band when he thought he could raise his family and compose songs for their albums at home

i feel like it gets some hate by the people who claim (perhaps rightly) the first 3 as masterpieces. underloved/overhated w.e... semantics are fussy, jafeel?
"Give me The Guess Who. They had the courage to be drunken buffoons, which makes them poetic"

On Spotify there's a Mono mix from 2015 which is a bit faster than the stereo cut. I dig it, especially on my morning and late night runs.
