Another year another embarrassing Doors album

from the mostly puerto rican new york scene
ive heard more of that guys (the percussionist/bandleader not singer) kinda mindblowing 70s salsa/latin jazz stuff but he was also pioneer in 60s as well

mid album but i dont think those 2 songs are any good either
just peeped op is looking for specific songs so just def add dark star and the eleven
yeah The Eleven its a pretty nice jam
didnt realize there was a 2 minute single version of Dark Star
not bad. Sitar/banjo outro was a choice.
you know im not as much of a b-side junkie as you and those are just about equal to the soft parade album tracks for me. certainly worse than touch me and title track

I always thought they were amazing and classic. You thought my My Wild Love stannery was crazy too so I just don't think you dig fire and brimstone bluesman Jimbo. Again, I hear alot of Bad Seeds in there.

yeah i think its good. August the easy highlight for me, great psychedelic guitar work. was just weird to get past arthur lee suddenly fronting that band after forever changes
didnt realize how many of those early Fairport gems were Joni Mitchells
wonder why was she let them come out with their versions before she even came out with hers
Moby D*** drum solo

nah i love Running Dry
beat Dylan to the punch with the dramatic fiddle by a decade nearly
I'd say Losing End for sure

i mean before, not take one off. and the length of the total album would still be like 43 minutes
