Most of NY is
Wish I was staying in one of those place. Manhattan hella garbo. Dirty and rude mfs
Maybe the Bay. It ain't what it used to be and it's expensive AF now, but the creative vibe is like no other. But I'm from Oakland so I'm biased
dont come to the bay lmao
If youre not from Oakland then dont move to Oakland, 80 percent of it is one of the worst poverty places n crime, n the other 20 is expensive af rich gated county.
Surrounding areas are better to move too while still being able to integrate into the communitg activities. You can also move right outside the bayarea.
Vallejo, Oakland, San Lorenzo, San Francisco & Hayward all have huge art scenes and are all pretty close to each other.
But yeah Bayrea is expensive af & has its own issues like anywhere else. Nowhere is perfect.
LA n Bayarea tho for art n tech people are the best places.
you dont know wtf youre talking about
Oakland's violence is way tf over blown, I was born and raised here and still live close. If you dumb enough to go to the deep or West Oakland at night looking like a mark, or leave s*** out in your car, you could be food but it's not niggas waiting to jump you on every corner or something
niggas acting like oakland a call of duty map
NIGGA!! Like I feel safer in the town than most places
Scottsdale AZ
There's nowhere in America where black people live like they can in Atlanta
Amsterdam is very multicultural. One of the most multicultural cities in the world. Also a lot of tourists, that can be a downside. It's a packed city. Actually better to do everything on bike or with public transport, which is very developed in The Netherlands, although most Dutch people complain bout it lol. Infrastructure is very good here
It's a typical traditional European city with an old city centre at the core. Beautiful, picturesque. Obvious standouts are the canals, popular culture, museums etc.
I'm from another city in The Netherlands, so it's also easier for me to compare. Aside from the other big cities, the rest of The Netherlands is less multicultural, but way cleaner and calmer. It's a small country, you can go from one side to the other in a couple hours
I will say the landscape isn't that amazing. The country is flat, hence the name. Southern Europe is way more beautiful and has better weather of course. It can get cold here, aside from the summer months. The healthcare and education here is on a higher level tho. Economy more steady too
Bruh thank you for this, all this sounds amazing and is basically what I’ve been looking for. I definitely have to plan a trip to check it out and enjoy myself. I like the fact that I’m Europe the countries are close together so I would be the type to travel to each just to experience it, feel like I would never really get bored living out there
But what about language. I knew they speak English in Amsterdam but not so much in Lisbon. Language may be a barrier but not the worst one
Yeah language barrier is something that would have to be dealt with but I’ve learned other languages in the past (Spanish & Japanese) so feel like this would be a cool challenge for myself if nothing else
but I agree it is something to take seriously into account
Lol I literally looked up those places but no not my style haha. Maybe the hamptons a little but the rest, no. I looked up fire island and this is what shows up
not trying to be THAT black guy lol
sorry to be that guy but for the lifestyle your talking itll be tough not being THAT black guy
anywhere with a high black population youll get a mixture of different types of black people, those are ur best bet tho
everywhere else will just be white people

atlanta is honestly a really good choice, lots of well off blacks live there
NYC is a decent option but like u/others said it is getting gentrified
i actually live right next to raleigh, from what ive seen its not very black, i live in durham which is like 30-40% black and the suburbs here are still 70-80% white and asian
charlotte might be nice idk much about charlotte
also would consider DC/maryland and maybe seattle
Why is Scottdale good to live in?
arizona is very conservative and traditionally extremely white
just looked up scottsdale........its 1% black...................

Atlanta and NYC definitely seem like they would have the most traffic for black people in America which is good. Hows the landscape of Atlanta? Cool parks to hike and whatnot?
