No one cares about age as long as you sound good, are "acting your age" to a degree, and can market yourself - and don't look dusty asl
There are plenty of people blew up in their late 20s to early 30s
Idk what style of music you make but it's even more common in other genres outside of Rap and more "accepted", but even in Rap you have Saint Jhn, Don Toliver, Teezo & Future etc. who blew up in their 30s and then you have people like Rick Ross, 2Chainz, Juicy J and Pusha T who had their peaks and 2nd resurgence (which they were seen as "new" to the average person) in their 30s
Jay Z was 26 with Reasonable Doubt
DaBaby blew up at 28
And so on, and that's just in the high tiers, when there's loads more in the more middle average tiers like the bunch of niggas in the old nigga underground getting rich off touring and straight to consumer actions
50 was 27 when get rich or die trying dropped
Nicki was 28 when pink friday dropped
50 was 27 when get rich or die trying dropped
Nicki was 28 when pink friday dropped
And they were both working at it for YEARS
Niggas really don't know how old most niggas really was, that "young man's" s*** is amongst a few and was also label propaganda of the 2000s (and young niggas trying to rebuttal against old niggas s***ting on them) to get niggas into slave deals that don't know no better
Donβt even get me started with them old ass Griselda niggas lol
The quirky old nigga underground is a major multi million industry and makes up one of the 4 sides of the underground, this decade π π
Niggas are like more open too older niggas and disillusioned with the old sayings more so this decade n generation of Z n Alpha then ever before lmao - part of it is due to more information on how old most niggas of the past really was, part of it is that everything is "fair game" in the algorithm, and another part is that Covid happens that sucked away 2 to 3 years of people's lives n put everyone on the backburner this decade no matter the job or art field
