No one cares about age as long as you sound good, are "acting your age" to a degree, and can market yourself - and don't look dusty asl
There are plenty of people blew up in their late 20s to early 30s
Idk what style of music you make but it's even more common in other genres outside of Rap and more "accepted", but even in Rap you have Saint Jhn, Don Toliver, Teezo & Future etc. who blew up in their 30s and then you have people like Rick Ross, 2Chainz, Juicy J and Pusha T who had their peaks and 2nd resurgence (which they were seen as "new" to the average person) in their 30s
Jay Z was 26 with Reasonable Doubt
DaBaby blew up at 28
And so on, and that's just in the high tiers, when there's loads more in the more middle average tiers like the bunch of niggas in the old nigga underground getting rich off touring and straight to consumer actions
He could try painting too though

I agree tho, it's never too late to change career paths and especially if you might feel more comfortable

I mean just for fun too though like not just a career he seems stressed out painting can relax u
I will say tho, most "old niggas" that get poppin to some degree usually have other skills that can be utilize or get them through doors than just "a rapper" or just "a singer"
Mixing, mastering, production, camera work, skit work and/or art work
I don't think nearing 25 is old at all, but if you do feel unconfident, getting/having other skills and being actually good at them on top of whatever your main is will help a lot
In both a personal and professional level

Yeah stressing at 25 is crazy imo and that is good advice
Just a different creative outlet in general can help relax and center urself
And it can also make you feel like you can do more, or have "more options" which is really good for your mental to not feel trapped in general
I have 3d modeling and animation outside of my music work, which is mostly just for me

I do but I'm too knowledgeable on the specific of like physical drawing and the tools
I used to draw n paint a lot as a kid n did classes n studies, lost it in like high school to early adult and basically replaced it with digital modeling - but I do sketch for basic scene ideas and just to see sumn before I start, then I do sketches just for sketch sake when I get feeling every now n then even tho im ass on legit pen to paper, but still a lot of fun and to see stuff you wanna try from ur head - same with painting

How does 3d modeling work is it like clay on the computer
How does 3d modeling work is it like clay on the computer
Yeah it is really similar (funny enoughI did 2 years of clay in HS one year of the wheel the other of hand forming) - the only real difference is that it can be a headache to get used to the digital workspace and remembering where everything is
There are two forms of 3d modeling tho - one is how you might imagine it, you're morphing it with a mouse or digital pen, and then the other is where it's all like shortcut keys and geometry "math" n doing a bunch of keyboard pushes to stretch and mold, 1st one is more like for "real" artists and the second is more like for "coders" but both methods are actually used simultaneously but veteran and pros like animation studios, ads and video games
But yeah it's like clay to a degree, and then it's also a lot like real life drawing with intricate detail and then like painting when you're doing textures - it's kinda like a mix of it all really
And he made it in his 30s and is successful when he was working at it since his early 20s
That should actually be encouragement for niggas insecure about their age lol
Teezo probably filing his taxes in the 500k tax bracket
nigga barely cracking 500k ig followers and isn’t showing up as a major feature no more on major rap albums no more
Myself I do mostly the morphing with a mouse/pen myself, then I do a little bit of the nerd ish for fine detail - I'm learning more rn about the nerd side too s*** is damn near backwards type of logic for like I guess a "traditional" creative 💀
And I just recently started using an actual digital pen some months ago when I was morphing everything with a mouse before
I started learning modeling during Covid, and I can do basic animating on my own now too - as an example, the 3d visuals that come with my music is my own 3d work on top of my own music

That is better than most people lol and better than even a lot of low to some mid tier artists on annual, and I guarantee he is 7 figures with touring and appearance work
So he isn't weeknd or Drake, wow what a loser, hes only a low millionaire and low famous, sucker dweeb

That sounds awesome tbh that's way more successful than 99.9% of artists will ever be in their whole life
I only got back into making things myself 3 years ago at 25 and def forgot what a gratifying thing it is just to create for the sake of expressing yourself. I also think all these years just following art and thinking about what makes art exciting to me made me so much more confident in my tastes

And he still has the occasional major feature n ad work, and this all off of his one and so far only major album

@Tuneout u know those?
do you mean a waterbrush?
i use these all the time. But not for watercolour. I was taught (and find it best) to use a fine (assuming youre jsut doing regular sketchbook size) tip paintbrush. if you fill these up with water colour paint you have no control over the lightness and darkness of the paint, which is controlled by how much water you mix with it.
but if you do it the normal way you can create little puddle of water and colour that are different saturations of paint.
i use these brushes filled with clear water all the time for wiping on water soluble pencils, sanguine and ink already on a page.
This new gen is gonna be f***in depressed when they hit 30 because they think they’re senile lol
No the older niggas are the best artist right now and you was there to study the big moments in music to perfect your craft
These young niggas got it bad because they’re ass and the reason music is so dull right now and don’t know s*** about the artist that came before them just copying Carti and youngboy
