"Who are you?"
"Bryan.. Bryan S. Kennedy
"
that was a shocking reveal for me in the after credits scene
Ngl this is better than obsession imo
The final act of Obsession really brings it down for me

Robert Pattinson Leon S Kennedy RE 4 movie tease was f***ing crazy
Recently been rewatching some WKUK content and came across this old podcast clip:

The story Zach tells here clearly had to have inspired the scene in the movie where the woman is sprinting directly at Bryan when he’s in the house (and also clearly an influence on Weapons).
I loved the movie but the ending coulda been much better
Im opposite I like the ending idea but third act mixed and due to how goofy umbrella is the ending falls flat
Yeah, $400 million is looking more and more likely, currently at around $320 million and it still has yet to open in Japan.
Crazy jump from Weapons hitting $240 million.
Barring how Curry Barker performs with his next flick, I suppose this makes Cregger the current biggest money maker in horror?
How the hell did this leak already lol

I thought that was easily one of the best sequences when he sees her to reloading the gun to the end just such an entertaining and well shot scene
It was good. I appreciate that it was less than 90 mins. Main character was well meaning. I didn't find him annoying and that's because I didn't look at him as being quippy for the f*** of it and most of the stuff was situational. Do I still think he could've toned it down for the final stretch ? Ehhh, kinda, not really, I've sat with it long enough to not really mind now. Not much to write home about when it comes to the script. The nurse interaction was the best exchange. Most of the film is oh f*** this and f***ing that, I'm no prude but it almost sounds like an improv that's too loose.
Movie wasn't that funny, script is just a dude saying f*** over and over while absurd s*** happens around him
But the direction, editing and pacing are so fire
Absolutely disgusting creature effects and nice set design that felt appropriately video gamey. Solid movie.
Yeah I feel the same, it wasn't that funny but it's competently made and satisfyingly gory when it needs to be.
What’s this?
I wasn't particularly interested, but since it's a new film by director Zach Cregger, I watched the movie Resident Evil. Right from the start, it hits you with BGM in the style of The Thing. It relentlessly piles on classical horror staging, horror scenarios, and a torrent of jump scares all the way to the end. This isn't a film adaptation of Resident Evil—it's a movie about the players (remote control operators) who played Resident Evil. It reminded me of how I felt when I played the first Bio on PS (1996), kinda like the Bryan in this movie. I kept getting game over and over, spamming "F◯◯◯!" nonstop lol.
I'm also thrilled that I managed to snag the pamphlet for The Dig.

The feeling of a streamer cussing just in the third act grew tired . 1st act the best for me . Ending I like idea but not execution
