Eh, I can see where people could see the second half as too over the top for their tastes, but personally I find that’s where the movie really finds it identity and essentially establishes that it’s not going to adhere to conventions or “good taste”.

The moment Bryan blows a little girl’s head off the movie establishes that all bets are off, you can’t go back from something that extreme or reel it in, you can only push further and further.
