cross progression exists between ps5 and PC so I would expect it to be there for xbox too

Why do some people say the game falls off at act 3?

The lower city counts as act 3 right?

Theres hlla things to do, options and quests there wtf lol - the lower city + the wyrm checkpoint town thing right before it is probably my fav part altogther.

i got to lower city 80 hours in and im still there now at 126 hours in. spent nearly 50 hours here and im just now doing the main quest regarding the wyrm prison.

Ive done like 6 major side quests and a few smaller ones in lower city and like 2 or 3 major side quests and a few smaller in the checkpoint town. S*** is great.

I wish there were a demo for this, I want to play but idk about dropping $70

My fav companions are Shadwheart, Karlach, Wyll, Gales and Jaheira.

Game deserves every award it got.

Game deserves every penny its beyond worth it if you can afford it.

One of the few games worth full price this year and will keep you busy forever. Plus theres hella replay value. I started plamnning for 2nd char halfw2ay through the game and im still not done with 1st playthroguh even tho I started in September - over 100 hours clocked in.

Also its 60 dollars, at least on Steam/GOG and in USA.

Lower city (and underground) is the city. Its bit misleading people were a bit disappointed they never got to go to the upper city which is fine (altho asking for more content in a 100 hour game is a bit wild)

And yeah I agree Act 3 has the best moments and imo the mosr fun I had with combat. You been to the house of hope yet?

Some opinions of how "bad" act 3 is was mostly about bugs which alot of them got fixed, the lack of upper city and performance issues.

The trickiest part were bugs that kinda softlocked your companions interaction in act3. Many people me included shortly after release had their companions kinda stop saying new things. Gale, Minthara, Karlach had that alot if I remember correctly.

Upper City seems to be more like a major story arc with its warnings like how the Mountain Pass was in Act 1. Not much to do outside of its straight shot for the most part. I get that tho if some are disappointed if its not as free - although I dont think its a big deal.

Mine has been great so far but I started playing late September iirc. My only real major bug I had was that Shadowheart and I think Karlach wouldn't follow me anymore in the world, but thankfully one guy had a solution on a random post that you have to create a new separate save file to make it work because the update counteracted with the current saves.

But yesss I've done House of Hope. Also the Iron Throne (saved dudes father without signing his life away again ),the Stonelord + bank, the Guild, the Fire Fist lady, mermaid bar, lotta little stuff in the sewers, the factory, the family of one of the companions & the necromancer house s*** is GOAT and this aint even including the stuff at the checkpoint town such as the circus n the investigation etc.

House of Hope is def the best overall and of Act 3 so far - i still gotta deal with the other 2 of the 3 and the underground of wyrm that the dad of bro is sending me too . Act 2 I liked the fire forge and mushroom man the most & act 1 I liked goblin and mountain pass the most.
S*** is so good.

I cant wait for mods to get even crazier for this and the upcoming mod tools

This and Elden Ring (due to the amazing work put into DS3 by the community) the only games I ever been super excited for mod potential as much basically a new game release lmao.

Need to fully larp my 2nd playthrough as a Dragonborn Tiamat potentially Dark Urge that is a Paladin (if I can get a dope mod mix) or Cleric (since Tiamat is only officially to be worshipped through Cleric in BG3)

You got some good stuff coming to you. If you have saved the nightsong I also enjoyed meeting that wizard in his tower.

Theres so much s*** to do I couldnt keep track of it all, but yes I did that too. Even did the entire tower too with the vaults & I also got Shadowheart out her cult fully as well.

So much stuff Ive done dont remember half of it off top and some oldheads got the nerve to say Act 3 is a falloff

i need to get back into this i played like 5 hours when it dropped liked it but never went back
