I love him!
3 classic albums in 1 calendar year, no English straight Spanish what a flex!
Its funny to in the article it says his mom is an English teacher, what a legend
Na I was born in PR lol just saying for non Spanish speakers that’s a fun way to learn the language
It’s not the language cause kali uchis had a top 5 album last year. It’s cause they use the same beat over and over
Any bad bunny songs that aren’t the typical reggaeton drum pattern? I’ve yet to hear one that doesn’t have it but I’m interested to see if there’s any worth checking out!
His last album is his most polarizing because it’s basically a rock album. Only one reggaeton song. And he has a few others. Only his second album is reggaeton. First and third albums only have one reggaeton song each. More trap than reggaeton in his catalog tbh
Honestly this is a respectable take and surprised someone hadn’t spoke up about it sooner.
I mean I only speak English and never thought of it as the "best", just the most popular because a lot of people around the world speak English
well, we're speaking english here too... so
Bunny is going through an interesting time in his career. His last album was the first thing hes done that’s wasn’t universally praised(because Latinos want reggaeton, not experimental hipster music) and he hasn’t handled it well. Going on an IG live basically telling fans to grow up and evolve their musical tastes lol hes also said a few controversial things lately like he never wants PR to be a state and now this. Will be interesting to see his next move.
As long as Future speaks English it will always dominate

Seriously speaking though, if this music is actually going to take off, they can’t keep using the same raggaeton beats in every song
This always the weirdest critique of the genre lol like hip hop is the same beat over and over again too. Just sped up or slowed down. Can find examples of different styles but for the most part. Goes for just about every genre tbf lol
He’s talking about the perception in the Spanish-speaking world, not the US
Probably saying the same for any country that isn't primarily using the English language
As long as the spanish hoes continue to f*** with Niggas he can push spanish music to the top of billboard idgaf.
Catch me howling LA CANCION to the top of my lungs
i mean it’s all relative
i’m sure people in non-english speaking counties think their language music is the best
