I’m still pretty surprised that Doctor Strange 2 made more than Thor 4, BP 2, and GOTG 3. But maybe it was because it came out after NWH so there was a lot of hype surrounding Doctor Strange at that time

better movie than all of them tbh

I think I’d take GOTG3 over DS2, but DS2 would probably be my 2nd favorite among those films

I loved that the MCU actually leaned in to horror, and it made for some really creepy sequences that I really liked. And tbh I need to rewatch it because I’ve only seen it once, maybe it will move up more in my rankings after I rewatch

Also the scene where they are fighting with music notes is one of the most creative scenes in the MCU and I can’t believe some people didn’t f*** with it

Feige really should’ve let Raimi cook. We could’ve gotten an incredible horror superhero film

It so obvious that the studio restricted Raimi’s vision

they already butchered raimis vision for doctor strange, there were only like 3 or 4 scenes that felt like raimi and the rest was clearly studio interference

if raimi does these, he will just be a puppet for the studio with no freedom

Honestly, agreed. Yeah Feige limited Raimi a LOT but he still had his sauce in there to make it a super fun watch. Can’t say that for a lot of the other movies
