So what if they do scrap this? Keep Secret Wars for Avengers 6, but make this Avengers vs the Fox X-Men (call it AvX)
They scrap for one movie to save their own worlds then in Secret Wars they team up to save the multiverse
Idk just tipsy spitballing here
Only way I’d want this to happen is if Feige actually lets Raimi cook, and he is able to direct both films.
Also let Eric Martin write it
Raimi a great visual director and I’m in for more creative fights like the musical notes one in DS2 but please none of the slapstick humor. Way more corny to me than any of the MCU quips
risky move tbh
on one hand having sam raimi close the book on the past 20+ years of marvel film history is a real full circle moment
but also tricky cause things can get carried away so so easily

FULL MARVEL HORROR! NO MORE P****FOOTING!
Who gonna be kang

Bring Raimi back
@Scatt_GSR called it

Have Doom tear his spine out of his body
Well I guess that'd add credence to the rumors that Tobey Maguire's Spider-man will be the lead in Secret Wars
not sure why anyone would be hyped for raimi when MoM showed he would have very little if any creative control to add his flourishes

A lot of these projects are already boring asl lately so might aswell have fun with it imo, let Raimi go off

i liked the movie a lot one of my favorite recent marvel movies

There's a decent amount of Raimi within MoM imo, especially after the first act.
Plus, that argument could be used for any director.
