I just don’t see the point of bringing in a baby just to motivate himself to save it lol he already has motivation to do what he did.
And yeah I was there when all that happened. Even that one panel had the fandom thinking whatever context they added to it is the only way it should be. I remember people thinking it was Eren holding Historia’s baby but it just seemed odd to me, imho that would’ve been worse than what we actually got.
Well it made sense to me. Why Eren would go to these lengths to betray his friends. Because he wanted to sacrifice everything so his child could experience true freedom from a history of oppression that his people faced against the outside world. So his child wouldn't have to be sacrificed like a pig that'll be forced to eat his parents.

At least that was what I was thinking while the manga was nearing it's end. Not sure how you think that's worse than what we got...lol.. Changing your plan so only 80% of the world dies knowing that the cycle of hatred will continue (something Eren knows very well at this point in the story), Made Eren's character feel pretty weak
You mean Floch? Cause apparently we find out that Eren's plan all along was to only kill 80% of the world so his friends could be the heroes. Pretty f\*\*\*ing dumb plan
That’s a high passing grade
Eren for ever

Now Eren's home is a wasteland

F*** dem kids lol
Also he didn’t change anything, he just allowed his friends to challenge him. 80% is just where the estimation ended up.

Also you’re saying he brings a child into the world, with the sole purpose to motivate him fight for that child not to be slaughtered? That is dumb for Eren lol
Every time Eren talked about Historia making war babies Eren was against it.
So yes that’s way worse than the actual ending.
Now Eren's home is a wasteland
Yeah like 2000s what yrs in the future
Another one will pick up the mantle and we will do this again.
Stupid ass Humans are the ones causing this.
Eren Jaeger da gawd

You’ll realise in time that Eren is just a poor man’s Reiner.

Eren wasn't against Historia having children. He was against the cycle of hatred where the island would use that child as a sacrifice. Eren's goal was to break that s*** down and after having a child, it makes sense why he would be so passionate about it. We never got Eren's response to how he felt about her having the baby cause that plot point was dropped. Obviously what happened has already happened. There's no point in arguing since you clearly feel differently and will desperately defend this ending for some reason

I said war babies lol not children in general.
We didn’t get a response because she went and did it anyways lol

See what I mean. You defend plot points that get discarded and never built upon. You're the opposite of the people that passionately hate the ending, you passionately defend it on every front. Was there anything you didn't like about the ending?

I don’t see what you mean because the plot point was never discarded lmao Eren & Historia having a baby was never a point to begin with

Don't avoid the question. Was there anything you didn't like about the ending?
But that does prove my point that people will latch on to fan theories instead of what’s actually in the book
You’ll realise in time that Eren is just a poor man’s Reiner.
Man hell no Reiner a chump!
You anti Jaegerists need to be smacked with your insolence
ALL OF YOU
Don't avoid the question. Was there anything you didn't like about the ending?
Look bruh I’m moving a lot don’t press me for missing one thing you asked lmao but yeah I never said the ending was just perfect. Dialogue was rushed and there were certain things I still have questions about but besides the obvious complaints with the exacution of the ending I thought the direction made sense with what was given to us in the story leading up to it

Alright that's all I needed to hear. It was just rushed huh? I'm glad you enjoyed this ending I suppose. It's clear that we have different perspectives on what a good story is

So it’s not a good story because Eren didn’t smash historia and make a baby just to defend the baby gotchu
Matter fact the world got so many problems ima go make me a baby to motivate me to be president, maybe things will be better after
I just feel like Eren had made his motivation very clear to the audience. In no way did he ever imply HE needed to bring a child into this world.
