No, in the manga, there is a line where Historia asks Eren what he thinks about her having this baby, this line was cut in the anime for obvious reasons. That's where it mostly stems from.

If the creator himself felt the need to remove the line... maybe just maybe... it was bad

Eren wasn’t even cool with Historia having a bunch of babies for this war why would he ask her to have his kid?

The whole point of the baby was a contingency plan at first anyway.

Eren wanted her to have the baby so she wouldn't have to eat Zeke. I'm just telling you why people thought that Eren was the father. I believe that's a fair assessment with that line in mind + telling her about his plan + Eren and Historia seemed to have a lot of chemistry in part 1. The implication of a baby seemed like it might be important to the plot as well but obviously Historia was sidelined. I think the idea of Eren being fueled with the desire to protect his child and grant them freedom no matter how many people he needs to kill would've been an incredible motivation. Instead we got
"I'm an idiot, that's why I did the rumbling. I'm an idiot who got power."

Yeah they built a bond after season 3 but it was always plutonic, she just also happened to be the one person everybody wanted to use in one way or another in season 4. Eren was empathetic but nothing implied he wanted to be da papi

Also why would Eren go out of his way to bring in a child knowing he’s going to die when his 13 years are up and all that after being so against Historia becoming a baby machine.

The baby was Historia’s idea to buy Eren time and delay having Historia turned into a titan and birthing lil baby gods. Basically repeating the cycle of Ymir.

What is Aoe? I just remember there was a lot of speculation cause of chapter 130 and 134. The line about Historia asking about what Eren would think about her having a baby popping in his head after thinking about only having 4 years to live and the parallels with the rumbling and Historia giving birth. This coupled with the last panel which Isayama revealed awhile ago (I guess it was changed)

It just really felt like that baby was gonna be important in some way and that it may be Eren's driving motivation to save the island. And if that's the case, then it makes sense for it to be HIS child. I don't care for the shipping s*** and it's never been a focus in AOT. It just seemed like it made the most sense narratively at the time

I just don’t see the point of bringing in a baby just to motivate himself to save it lol he already has motivation to do what he did.

And yeah I was there when all that happened. Even that one panel had the fandom thinking whatever context they added to it is the only way it should be. I remember people thinking it was Eren holding Historia’s baby but it just seemed odd to me, imho that would’ve been worse than what we actually got.

Also AoE (anime only ending) is a fan made alternate ending based on the season 2 ending where everybody dies and Eren is king of the world basically.
