Bobby BalenciagaSince his dad doesn't know Eren would be stopped that means that Eren himself doesn't know he would be stopped until some later point - when that is is ambiguous - we do know he saw roughly up to the Freedom panel originally tho
I think he finally gets full knowledge of the future and Ymir’s plan when he fully becomes the Founding Titan and merges with her.

I kno you sayin most but I hate conflating people havin issues with the ending wit the most extreme (insert snk subreddit) contingent. We can have nuanced discussions about the ending, I’ve been wanting to but the manga community been too polarized. But yea that comes later ofc.
