But he’s right.
It’s the only way to truly end the cycle.
If Eren decides to continue the cycle, he’ll be no different then the Eldians and Marleyans who committed violence and atrocities against countless others.
Zeke’s plan is the harshest but all the history has shown that it’s the only way to make true peace and end the suffering of the AoT world.
Its completely understandable, that's also partly why i find him so compelling, but its definitely not the only solution. Aot gives the reader many perspectives from different parties and if you take time to think about it all of them are understandable, but i cant sympathyze with zeke's plan because its basically a gentle, slow genocide. Many would think it differently maybe, so that adds nuance to discussions like this which is a big plus in my eyes.
This episode made me reminisce about the conversation between uri and kenny in season 3, which i still find to be a top tier moment of this show, and there you find another great perspective. Uri and kenny were natural enemies, especially considering their context, and they clashed, but in the end they became friends. Uri asks himself if maybe there's a way for humanity to resolve their issues like the two did, but of course he knows that hatred and conflict runs deep in humanity's blood so maybe his is only a wish. Still, that's another solution that while hard to obtain is optimistic and optimism can still be a mindset to have in this world at war.
So yeah aot is great at making you question your morality, your beliefs and your insecurities
When you realise the 3 Jaw Titans have been Reiner’s true plot armor this whole time

Eren has shaken her to the core man
Not only him tbh, its her whole surroundings who made her this broken kid who found out in the most brutal way that the world she thought she knew was instead a lot more complex, and honestly if the same had happened to me i would've reacted even worse. Zeke betrayed her, eren killed her loved ones and her town, marley fed her a lie, the devils she grew up to hate were actually people like her with both love and hatred in thejr hearts. Its f***ed that she realized this in the midst of a war that will decide the faith of the world

That and the Battle of Heaven & Earth cliffhangers were taking weeks off my lifespan, I swear.

That wasn’t as bad as the 6 months long cope of “Eren’s not in the Founding Titan, he’s using the Warhammer Titan’s power and the Founding Titan is connected to the world’s longest USB cable back at Paradis where Eren is with Historia and their baby” theories.
Thank god the anime onlys aren’t as stupid.
Reiner when he finally gets the death that he’s always wanted and also gets to stop his cousin from becoming a Titan only for Porco to steal his redemption and opportunity at peace:

i was on that train for a chapter or two
I seriously don’t think anime onlys realise how lucky they had it.
The cliffhanger for manga readers was the Eren head shot.
And we had to wait a MONTH to see what happened next.
