I think it was always implied that he loved her. The Ill wrap the scarf around how many times you want, what am i to you scene and her being the biggest memory shards in chapter 130/131\. Nonetheless Isayama isnt that good at writing authentic romances

I think it works in a world like that and the situation they lived in.
because at that point he was dead but he knew that he would kill 80% of the world and that Armin & Mikasa would be the ones to stop him.
Eren saw Mikasa entering the titan’s mouth right before he was killed, he should’ve know it was going to be her
the end of the curse wasn’t just about love. It was ended because Mikasa killed Eren while the hallucigenia was separated from the founding Titan. Ymir was just happy to see that someone that was bound by love could move past that for the future.
It had to be Mikasa tho, Eren said that to Armin

he didn’t get access to every single memory. That’s why they are shards because he just got multiple glimpses of the future.

Its been implied that he told her in paths sequence where he is to end it but i dunno

This is a great point, my mind completely skipped over hallucigenia-chan
He felt that way inside but obviously given the circumstances he couldn’t act on it. Even when he did it just reconfirmed that the future doesn’t change. He didn’t ask Mikasa what he is to her for s\*\*\*s and giggles.
That last line you typed especially...idk what people expected when that’s plain as day right there lmao

yeah... but why? Maybe Yimir hided that memory from him, but why? What would’ve changed if he knew?

Always seen the scarf scene as him just loving her as family tbh, also the question he asked her is just you assuming there were romantic intentions behind it.
There is very little evidence throughout the series that he actually loved her like that but people gotta cling on to the little evidence there is to fulfil whatever fantasy they thinking up in their head.
I do believe that Eren was fully aware that Mikasa loved him though
Also Eren looked kinda relieved/tired when he misaka killed him so maybe he was sick of all that bs and been waiting to be freed

HOWLING

yeah he knew it would be Mikasa, Eren just didn’t understand Ymir’s reasoning for why Mikasa killing Eren meant something to her. The actual action of Mikasa killing Eren is what ended the curse of the titans. I think Ymir just needed some closure on her connection to the world and scum fritz to truly be at peace.

People just wanted to hold on to chad Eren smashing Historia’s walls and being the king of the world

I understand that this is what ended the curse. But didn’t Eren told Armin that he didn’t know WHAT Mikasa was going to do?
mikasa stans down horrendous
Yoooo chill this actually making the ending worse
If you reread the final arc & pay attention to everything Eren said and did in the flashbacks it makes more sense.
All I know is I def expected a lot more main character deaths. Kinda unexpected considering how initally Isayama was slaying characters left and right

Like what
The ending and amount of plot holes doesn’t make any sense

Like someone itt a few pages back said maybe the reason why there was a strong affinity between Eren and Historia, aside from coming up via the scouts, was because Eren inherited the Founder from Frieda via Grisha. All those feelings of Frieda caring for her sister went right on down to him. If anything, THEY probably had more of a brother-sister relationship than Eren and Mikasa did.
