Lowkey be forgetting about the godly weekly anime.
Monthly manga droughts got me slippin.
Last episode felt really good to me in pacing but this episode just felt off to me and I love slower Aot episodes more than the action oriented ones
100% agreed, I always preferred the slower episodes but these last two episode felt like they were cramming so many new characters, drama, ideas and storylines.. it feels like its becoming convoluted af.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it, but they def needed to space it out.
my friend really said this ep was "boring af" & "a flop"
can't be having eps with plot development apparently
Your friend has worms for brains if he thinks this was bad episode, s*** was fire
Definitely the slowest episode of the season so far. Prolly the weakest one too tbh. it's all necessary though.
I could see this ep being confusing for anime onlies though what with all the time skips and back story.
Felt the same for the previous episode as well. I think having split this into 2 separate seasons would have helped tremendously cause this season is starting to feel like a youtube recap video.
This already is split in two seasons. I think yall like Wit's more slow downed quiet moments a lot more than the pressure that is building here in season 4.
Also, doesn't help they're trying to build tension with this arc.
Could they be more blatant with the wine lmao
I’m surprised you guys are saying the episode was a mess, curious if y’all are anime-only.

It definitely wasn't a slow episode, probably the most packed episode of the season

Honestly surprised at how some people are reacting to this one

Packed doesn't mean it wasn't slow

Genuinely didn't feel slow to me, maybe it's because I'm coming in knowing a lot of the story, s*** has revealed a lot. We were properly introduced to the Azumbito family, we learned about what Historia's been up to. If anything it felt like the quickest episode in terms of narrative progression.

I'm having a major issue with how they're trying to fill in the stuff that took place in the past 2 years. In the last 2 episodes alone, so much has been said or introduced that I barely have time to even absorb anything. To be fair, it could be explored or explained in later episodes but those last 2 episodes felt so messy.
I'm also not sure if the studio change has anything to do with it cause I read a few chapters of the manga to compare it to the anime and they seem to be adapted pretty much the same (apart from the animation style). Then again, I could be wrong because I only saw chapters for this current season and not for the one WIT adapted.
Also, I mean two seperate seasons, like how Season 3 had two parts but was still part of Season 3.

I didn't say it was a bad episode just that the rest of the eps this season have been better imo.

Oh well not sure if you know but this season won't cover everything. Most likely already confirmed that there will be a part two of season 4.
