she’s not just a kid, she’s a warrior candidate, can be called a vet already, single handedly took down the armor train, when you see the next two episodes you will understand her character better

any of yall read the akatsuki no requiem ending theory?

Yeah in episode 2 she was confused by what reiner told her, but then she saw eren kill her friends, comrades and civilians and that kinda confirmed her they were in fact devils.
Also, even if she's the most trained kid of all time she's still a kid. Have you seen how many mistakes and stupid decision RBA made when they went to paradis? Magath was against sending 4 titan shifters on a mission because they were just kids

Say what you want about gabi, but she was with the s***s off jump. That 12yo lil girl have no hoe in her blood . Wanted the smoke with just being 1 deep. I respect it

I loved so much how eren's emotions at the end of the episode were portrayed. Ive said this before but if he had become a soulless a****** i would still love him as a character but he'd have lost part of what made him eren jaeger. He cares a lot about his friends around him, and the fact he took the beating from levi is proof he knows he f***ed up in involving his friends without their consent. The scene with armin helping eren board the zeppelin was also well done, armin's disappointed and hurt look show he felt betrayed by eren, but he still reached out his hand cause eren's still his friend and they're both fighting for the same reason.

TLDR: I love this show!!!

the tldr is eren kills all his friends, goes back to paradis post-rumbling (potentially w/historia as his partner) & lives with ptsd on the basis of the symbolism from the akatsuki no requiem music video

Those same kids took down a country by themselves, and they are like the best warriors who turned out better than expected. isn’t that why they sent those kids to the island? Making mistakes not really an excuse cos adults make mistakes and fail too. Also Gabi was at the dinner prior and then where she and her friend died wasn’t at a playground l, it’s at a rally calling for the whole world to help eradicate paradis, paradis ppl just quick to the draw. I don’t care about Gabi killing Sasha but sometimes kids aren’t just “kids”
Galliard brother as a kid tried saving his own brother porco from becoming a warrior, talking s*** about his own brother and bigging up Reiner, and after Reiner became a warrior, he kept apologizing. kids know right and wrong too

Fr, and the parallel between the eren/armin/mikasa trio and connie/jean/sasha trio is so sad, the latter had a much sweeter and warmer interaction while the former was more detached, really shows the s*** eren/armin/mikasa went through first hand

Yeah but they f***ed up heavy, it wasnt some little mistake. They lost one titan shifter because they got distracted, went yolo and caused so much chaos they caused the founding titan to go to someone they couldnt possibly know had it, they lost another titan shifter cause they had to blend in instead of carrying the original plan and they returned without getting the one thing they were sent to do. If even zeke who was probably 17 at the time was sent with them the plan would've gone differently. Magath aint dumb, he was chosen by willy to inherit the marleyan army and is a worthy commander, he knew sending 4 kids wasnt the wisest decision to make and time proved him right.
Yeah kids know right or wrong, that's why bertholdt, reiner and annie killed countless civilians in paradis, that's why eren became so focused on getting revenge (like gabi is now btw).
There's a reason eren said to reiner "oh i said that? Please forget about it": they were the thoughts of a whiny kid who didnt know anything about how the world works. And this is a thing eren has stated multiple times just in episode 5: eren, reiner, bertholdt were only kids who didnt know anything aside from what they were told
