It was a good video, i agree with a lot he said, besides the trailer argument. Trailers for a while now have only been used to advertise a series, and being in early production, it doesnt make sense to think they would've taken the scenes used out of already finished episodes. But ultimately, i think that it comes down to perspective. Anime onlies are not gonna notice the cgi cause they're focused on story and dialogues too, while manga readers will naturally be focused on the animation more since they already know what happens. Basically only manga readers have complained while anime onlies in many cases didnt even notice it

If the first 2 episodes were intense then the rest gonna give you multiple heart attacks

I been loving the CG titans for the most part & I been reading the manga for 5 years now

Besides a couple seconds of clunky looking movements (Eren ripping out the chord which I didn’t really even mind) it’s been looking great and shot for shot with the manga

Long as they keep the quality up of ep7 I’m sure the complaints will fade away

Yeah rn its either people massively overhyping this season or unnecessarily s***ting on it. Its understandable tho, its like the most hype an anime has had in years

Yeah. Given the context, the series wouldve either been canceled for a long time or been given to a trash ass studio. Mappa getting it was the best outcome tbh, and at least for me they're doing a great job, on par with wit

Exactly that’s what a lot of ppl don’t understand. We could have been waiting years, we could have NEVER got s4 just because of how much of a task it is for animators to do these scenes and new designs.

I think MAPPA has done great for a 10 month animation project and even now they still work on the episodes until the last second

Last episodes had some shots that i preferred to anything wit had ever done, like the whole sequence of armin transforming into colossal titan and the aftermath. Straight end of evangelion vibes. Not a perfect adaptation by any means, but a great one regardless
