They would rather lose money than have theaters be successful.

    Did you read the article?

  • People don’t read articles on here to realize it’s clickbait speculation. So I guess the clickbait doesn’t work but spreading headlines as truth isn’t good either

Why logically would Netflix say the exact day window before deal finalized if it was terrible . Use your brain

Netflix wants to kill movie theaters. They're not stupid. The theatrical model is more profitable but it's their biggest competition.

They are willing to lose MASSIVE amounts of money in the long-game to ensure that the theatrical model dies. They have talked explicitly about this from the very beginning of the company's founding.

How is it clickbait? It doesn’t say that’s the confirmed word from Netflix. Do y’all not know what “reportedly” means?

Nobody said they did, it says they REPORTEDLY want to do that. Deadline does not make s*** up, if they say they heard something then they’re not just pulling it out of their ass

Do you not know what Deadline is?

Deadline is one of the Big 3 reputable trades in Hollywood

If them, Variety, or THR report something then you can guarantee there is some merit there

  • This nigga think Deadline is a chatty patty publication

This deal so far from going through if Netflix said 17 days it likely would not go through . I’m saying wait and see . Both companies have a lot of money at play so yes people have the ability to lie to try to shift the tide . Deadline been wrong before

Again, not a soul is saying this is the official number yet. Just the fact that they’re even thinking of a theatrical window that short says enough
