Every consumer is different with different money situations. Don’t hate on the next man
The basic plan of any streaming service is literally a waste of money
You’re paying for the slop version of slop

Not my problem. But there’s options for people.
He’s.. not wrong? Do you guys not enjoy watching movies at home at your own comfort? Yeah, theaters are still there down the street from you. But what’s wrong with options? I don’t get it lmao
You’re doing this contrarian thing on purpose

Bro switched from think of everyone to “ not my problem “
Streaming bubble bursted so bad other mega companies and studios gotta merge to stay afloat
another thing to note is the longer a film is in theaters, the larger the cut the exhibitor is making off the film
like AMC makes more per ticket in week 8 of Sinners than they did opening weekend
so shorter theatrical windows are more anti-competitor then pro-consumer in practically every instance

Ain't no options once the theatres can't support a slate that's 30/40% thinner
that's options being taken away from you. What if I wanna see it in a theatre and not dark as s***, with horrible motion blur and horrendous audio mixing?
You’re doing this contrarian thing on purpose
I’m not though. There’s a world out there for people that don’t regularly go to the movies and would rather catch it on dvd or online
You don’t have to force people to sit in a theater to watch a film
$8 for basic plan with ads
I remember a time where none of these services had ads.
Ads should have never been there in the first place.
I remember when services didn't up charge to stream something in 4K.
So now if I want to watch something on Netflix in 4K without ads, I have to pay $25 a month. And that's just for Netflix. Expect that to go up to $35-$40 with HBO Max which already is charging $23 for their ad free 4K plan. Then Disney+ and Hulu's ad free bundle is $19.99 a month. If you want Peacock that would be another $16.99. Go ahead and add in Amazon Prime for $14.99. Let's throw in Apple too for another $12.99.
Add all of that together as it is today and you get about $113 a month to have access to all the streaming services ad free in 4K
5 years ago that cost would've been about $65
So in 5 years the price has doubled to have all the services without ads in 4K. All of those services launched ad free and depending on the service 4K was originally added without any extra cost. The barrier for entry to 4K and the best sound should not be how much you pay the service, but the equipment you have. I didn't shell out $1,500 on a Sonos system only to have to pay more to these services in order to use the full capabilities of my sound system. That's supposed to be a one and done thing.
I’m not though. There’s a world out there for people that don’t regularly go to the movies and would rather catch it on dvd or online

Is it really that much effort to see a trailer for a movie you like and go to one or two a year ?

You don’t have to force people to sit in a theater to watch a film
You have enough people arguing with you itt. I don’t care to
Example great example
Demon slayer and chainsaw man were going well on crunchy roll but popped into theater money demon slayer set records
People like the theater experience and being around other humans that like what they like in reality not just twitter or ktt
Odds this gets blocked by congress are high so im hopeful
Why would they block it?
Netflix has not been consistently making good TV for some time now
Even Stranger Things, while better than most things they're putting out, is still suffering from writing that panders to people not paying attention to the show. Resulting in too much expository dialogue.
Now imagine this for The Batman Part III
people who use Netflix don't want good TV
they want something they can play in the background while they scroll
He’s.. not wrong? Do you guys not enjoy watching movies at home at your own comfort? Yeah, theaters are still there down the street from you. But what’s wrong with options? I don’t get it lmao

Huh?
I’m saying there’s plans for ads at the lowest tier that can still make it affordable for people to subscribe to their service if they don’t want to pay more. It’s not my problem in the sense of if I want a higher tier plan, I can.
