There'll def be a new Hollywood that rises at some point, I just doubt these will rise as the key players lol
We need indie distributors to still prioritize indies.
there has to be a point in time where the people say enough is enough surely

They just said they’re shortening windows and have admitted in the past that they don’t care about theaters. What are the odds that this will create another strike?

I think that I don't really care about the politics part as much as the cannibalism of the medium part. Like at all
Like, everyone who's a CEO is Republican already, I feel like I can say that without much doubt, so I don't care about the trump part because that's intrinsic to the whole "corporate film studio/production pipeline" setup anyway. And in the same breath, I'm sure Saudi money or whatever "bad man" money you want to attach to a nation (i.e. Israel) is already being pumped and funnelled thru this system anyway. That doesn't really move me and I don't think that paramount acquisition would've changed much besides just being a bullshit monopoly, at least in regards to the counterpoints presented
Like I think assuming political influence just isn't present on one side of the fence, and only present on the other, is a tad naive. Movie studios follow the social trends of the audience/zeitgeist regardless, in accordance with (or against) political trends too
Should have added those 30 min to BVS man
Extra sleeping time in the theater
