    Quran is the divine authority, literal word of God

    Hadiths are open to scholarly interpretation

    If the a reformist scholar argues some hadith reflect 7th century Arabian uncommonalities rather than timeless commands

    And Quranists ignore Hadiths altogether

    Whose talking points would you use?

    The sunnah is not to be innovated on either

    Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you mean by innovate and that’s on me. The Sunni hadith collections can and are interpreted and have various classifications

    I’m not saying ignore it my point is whether those reports are binding, how they are interpreted, whether they accurately represent the historical event etc etc. It’s not as simple

    They also don’t only learn this from text. Mostly from peers and family and community. Good behaviour is modelled throughout. Super sad when people pigeon hole 1 text to discount all this
