also the way all books of faith, especially the bible, was written, was that there often are multiple stories from different sources at certain points in time, that were attempted to be put together into a singular book. thats why even in the book of genesis things are repeated, because it was multiple sources put together.

in other words, outside of the major topics of religions, if youre a believer or not, theres always going to be random stuff in these books that are not congruent or conflict the overarching morals and rules of the religion. and that doesnt dismiss the importance or value of the religion itself
