Yes, but the industry of live music has gotten more expensive in general, and $600 for 160 artists is still abnormally cheap. There are some artists whose own solo tours cost more than that for a floor seat

Has it really got more expensive or just more profitable? There are a lot of trends that would theoretically be driving costs down/profits up: lower audience expectations for performances, monopolisation of the industry, more refined marketing, etc.
It may be more expensive for venues who went into debt during COVID and now need to pay it off. Which, to your point, would apply to solo tours, who book those venues - but it wouldn't really apply to open-air festivals.
Music industry publications continually refer to Coachella as the "most profitable" festival but ofc they will not make the exact figures public
