Yea they'd kill themselves if they aint go numb from the fat jokes already

  • Probably

  • Fat men knows they are fat and they can joke around being fat. No one cares about a fat man. He is just a fat f***.

For women it is about the beauty. They need to find beauty in themselves because that's how the society views them. She can't just be fat. She has to be beautiful as well.

There is different roles playing based on genders because we have socially constructed them that way and fat women are suffering because of it.

It depends on the individual. I know a guy who got ripped because he “hated” (his words) how fat he used to be. I work with a woman who is fat and has no problem calling herself fat.

True i think in today’s America women are much less insecure about being fat because its basically the norm now

  • Obviously

The difference in beauty standards for men vs women is ridiculous

Overweight men can still be considered attractive but overweight women are "automatically unattractive" from society's standard

Tbh I think social media cooked our brains

Women who are actually pretty think they're ugly after scrolling and seeing beautiful IG women who are perfectly fit

What's crazy is the average American is probably slightly overweight yet the beauty standard set by society is "being in shape = pretty" and I think that social media contributes to a lot of people being depressed from it

    women so back and forth

one year it’s body positivity, no fat shaming

next year it’s Ozempic/Monjero weight loss

now it’s sugar protein plus weight lifting

i wonder what’s next, back to accepting the male gaze?

    I don't know
    depends on the guy

being fat and broke will have you down bad

but if you're fat & well off, there's a different swag you can lean into

I feel like you have to be tall to get away with being fat as a man.

No, it's because women don't judge those hefty men while men/society judge women who are that. It got nothing to do with men being less sensitive about it

Pretty much, the constantly shifting and volatile algorithms of the modern social media/digital landscape have done some near irreparable damage on the mental health and self-esteem/self-image states of people (be it men, women, and everyone in between alike)

    For sure

For men the toxic section of IG is all about wealth/success and having the perfect material life and for women it's all about being fit/skinny and constantly vacationing

Comparison is truly the thief of joy and people see it as a competition to post all of their highlights but nobody shows their realistic lowlights in life too

Thread’s now about fat boy swag

  • Duh.

Dudes got entire nicknames to describe how big they are. MFS in Spanish will just straight up nickname a dude "Gordo"

There's like 2 hot topics you never mention to women: If they look older than they are and anything about their weight. Like even remotely...
