Kill all streaming services and make just f***ing ONE with one important feature without any other gimmicks that you don’t use anyway: MUSIC. All of them have all the same songs you listen to anyway why do we need so many services.

Also kill all the music streaming stans while we at it. Some of the most useless people. Want to go to war about which streaming is superior?? f***ing dorks ALL OF THEM ARE THE SAME??? One useless feature gets introduced, some nerd: “sPoTiFy hAd tHiS fEatuRe” kill yourself. Stop reading this. Kill yourself right now.

This is not an innovation to me, phone wise

Although I do agree getting rid of the "wallet" bulge is great and more attractive

This tech is more innovative outside of phones such as foldable or rollable huge screens and projectors that make transportation, storage and protection infinitely better - but on phones its more like a cute quirk than anything, to me, - and I'm now talking more casual here and don't know the full ends and outs - but I'm also skeptical on the hinge since a phone is something you will constantly touch thus with this you will constantly fold and defold/flip causing lots of potential wear and tear creating another form of maintenance and repair (which is Apple's case they are trying to take away and already make it hard to maintain and repair your bought products even to the legal level)

But overall folding along with rollable screens n glass it's a great advancement for industrial-type things, but to me just an accessory for phones that doesn't really do much outside of mainly aesthetic - it's negligible at best to me at the moment

    It's cool looking tho

At this point theres only so much you can do to improve phones. The tech has peaked and at the same time more people now already have phones, there is no convincing new buyers. What brands are doing is entice people to switch, it's why we see the rise in gimmick, quirky things in the current market

Innovations is debatable in the mass consumer market. Yeah it's great to have cause it's a feat but for bleeding edge techs the early iterations is costly cause they are still fricking new. It's a whole process to properly streamline things from r&d to manufacturing, getting the parts cheaper and accessible. this why new things are now being rolled out in phases that can feel slow than a "leap" type launch. Besides we've already accomplished and explored so much with tech which brings this back to my point earlier

I might switch tbh that dm thing is a travesty

I like AM's layout because its just music. No merch. No tour dates. No "announcements" from the artist. No autoplaying carousel of Tik Toks

I dont have any brand loyalty to Apple. But Spotify's insistence of being like a media hub rather than a tool repels me away from it. AM gets this totally right imo.

That plus iCloud library is way better than the Spotify equivalent. Spotify generates better recommendations though.

Wild how niggas are still trying to catch up to Google Play greatness yet y'all let it die

    Google Play was the GOAT.

I hate apple more than most but its not like theyre invested in military technology right?

    Sent from my iPhone

Evil comes in many forms, not just one CEO's personal evil investments in war tech

Apple also have military ties including board members Ronald Sugar who founded a military defence company with a market cap of over $90 billion & Susan Wagner of BlackRock (a company who has invested nearly $200 billion in military/weapons technology)

You have to think of the sheer size of Apple & the amount of fields they are in, compared to Spotify to really put into perspective the evils of a company. Bearing in mind Apple is a company with a 3.4 trillion market cap who makes at least $90 billion dollars of profit a year.

Spotify's profit for entire 2009 to 2024 period is less than $2 billion dollars

More than half of their income comes from products which require lithium or cobalt & the assembly of these products require exploitative labour
They have multiple R&D centers in Israel & have acquired many companies from Israel

I would still say Microsoft, Google & Amazon are also evil, probably even moreso

Basically... where there is a lot of money, there is sure to be evil & exploitation

& where there's waaaaaaay more money than that, there will be waaaaaay more evil & exploitation occurring.

Think of this, the Amazon delivery character calls the UPS character broke, the UPS character says 'so what, we make our money only off delivering stuff, y'all make money off everything.'

Spotify is UPS, Apple is Amazon, they are a phone company & music streaming is just a bonus service they offer because they have expendable income & wanted to offer another service they could charge people for. Even pre-iPhone, they still made the overwhelming majority of their money from hardware.
