I don't know I just feel like to still be doing the "You have an Android!? Team Apple!" thing in big 2025 is just a sign of low intelligence. Like who cares what overpriced phone you got lol
Facts
It be annoying seeing folks do that stuff
It's all just stupid in-group/out-group bias
console wars/stans or fandoms/politicians who ride with every choice their party makes, a constantly embarrassing part of sociology
A VR headset with some AR capabilities, which that type of product existed before Apple
and Apple's isn't even the best one
you haven’t watched a 3D movie in one, literally better than seeing one in a theater. plus u can turn ur entire photo library into 3d spatial photos
if i could do this from spotify to youtube music it would be game over for those green b******s

It's definitely a bold attempt at entering a new product category, although the current version is still not at the point where it's 'finished' or truly viable imo. It's definitely in early adopter/'help us fund development a bit & also gauge interest' status
They've still got a way to go but obviously it takes time, it's sort of like looking back at the first Samsung fold and comparing it to the newest one. Tech needs time to mature, portable/wearable tech even moreso due to power limitations.
Spotify been had this feature

“TuneMyMusic is a third party and not affiliated with Spotify.”
But yeah you’ve been able to do this for a long time with third party applications like TuneMyMusic
i might switch soon
“TuneMyMusic is a third party and not affiliated with Spotify.”

Its embedded within the spotify app. yes it uses a third party service but it is the one officially sanctioned by spotify
Kill all streaming services and make just f***ing ONE with one important feature without any other gimmicks that you don’t use anyway: MUSIC. All of them have all the same songs you listen to anyway why do we need so many services.
Also kill all the music streaming stans while we at it. Some of the most useless people. Want to go to war about which streaming is superior??
f***ing dorks ALL OF THEM ARE THE SAME??? One useless feature gets introduced, some nerd: “sPoTiFy hAd tHiS fEatuRe” kill yourself. Stop reading this. Kill yourself right now.

3D movies have been able to be done in headsets, you can do it right now on Quest 3 and others, and there are headsets dedicated to just cinema entertainment instead of a catch all multi purpose headset.
Also 3D obviously isn't new and 3D TVs once existed (and failed), but more importantly, I am not and most people are not gonna use 3D as the primary main way to view things - and especially for how way priced something like Apple Vision is, it's a joke.
360 viewing is more impressive to me in VR and AR if you're talking more of things that can only really be done with headsets, but again, they can all do that, and unfortunately there are barely any true 180 - 360 content. And most of the little there are just tech demos or YouTube content, with a very small handful of professional videos and remastered movies.
It's not innovative bro, just Apple's version of an already existing product and idea that will cost you way much more - but in this case their headset is actually behind in some regards compared to the competition while not really being better in any outside of a few AR applications.
Vive, Index, Primax are still the best premium - Vive Focus Vision line being a direct comparison to Apple Vision's AR side that is better and half the cost while being fully out already.
Quest 3 is the best general all around consumer that also has AR (although more rudimentary).
And then, last time I kept up to date in the space, Big Screen Beyond visor glasses being the best custom and all around so extra n "baller" nerd tech adopter headset.

There's already VR/AR tech above Apple's for less of the price out right now - while many companies have already been figured out the at home set up such as Vive and Primax
Battery will always be an issue for many years to come, spare charged batteries will be a requirement for the foreseeable future
Quest 3 has just solved the general consumer all-arounder product
And Big Screen is the only one that is able to put it all in a sunglasses-like package while still being at max quality with the ability to also be portable
The tech has already been getting solved, and in some lines has already been solved

I’ve used a Quest 3 before bruh Vision Pro’s interface is miles ahead
once they finds a way to make it lighter and get rid of the battery pack it won’t even be a debate

Vision Pros $3000 more it better be miles ahead
They have to get that price tag down if they want to be serious in the market

Where did I say Quest 3 was comparable? I said Quest 3 solved and already fills the lane of the general consumer all around mass produced product lol. And it also already broke the barrier of VR for the general audience while being the market leader.
While Vive Focus Vision is equal and in some cases better than Apple Vision while being half the price while already being out.
And then Big Screen is the actual enthusiast baller product that also has a better screen, field of view and form factor than all of them that you can even get custom molded to your face.

"AM is better" mfers are so annoying too man
you're right
Spotify is trash, Daniel Ek is a scumbag
But Apple is definitely waaaay much of a scummy company overall imo
I don't think it's worth debating the morality of the two, both are firmly in scum territory, one is just much much bigger & thus has definitely done much worse stuff
Also Soundcloud rolled out a migration feature recently
I hate apple more than most but its not like theyre invested in military technology right?

they need to add proper Last.Fm connectivity if they wanna win

Apple isn't involved with military things the same way as "Spotify".
Spotify CEO is literally investing into military weapons, robots/drones, vehicles and bombs companies. Including but not just USA neither.
Apple goes as far as supplying the USA military custom made ipads and watches for better fit and resistance of their activities, and they create some custom apps for them as well. Not comparable, Spotify's weirdo CEO is way worse.
it’s my time capsule i gotta keep it going
I gave up years ago, fell out of sync too often
