i kinda lied tho there’s a hairline crack on the back and some scuffs on the corners (iphone 12) im clumsy as s***
actually surprised it hasn’t shattered
Putting a case on when they spend so much time on design is crazy
8GB base RAM in 2023 on your “Pro” line is insane
Also funny how Apple is comparing the M3 to the M1.
But the space black does look nice and I have been thinking of replacing my 2014 MBP (it still runs perfectly fine/fast, just Adobe apps sometimes feel slow with certain processes).

at 12GB RAM this would be the best value laptop in performance/price.
8GB just doesn’t cut it. they know there’s a lot of money to be made there lol, the amount of people upgrading that config’s RAM will be huge

definitely. it doesn't help that a lot of reviewers/YouTubers say 8GB on the M1 is like 16GB on Intel, smh
at least the base 16-inch comes with 18GB now instead of 16GB, lmao.
i guess i'll just have to drop three bands on the 16-inch. i wouldn't mind the 14-inch but once you add more RAM it's only a $100 difference from the 16-inch and at least with storage you can always go external for cheaper. i've also read the 14s can sometimes throttle due to physical limitations, which realistically i doubt i'd push it that far but it's still something to keep in mind.

They really perfected these price points to upsell you to a $3k laptop lmao I’m in the same boat

no but fr, because here I was thinking I'd spend like $2-2.2K and now I've managed to talk myself into $3K
buying a more spec'd out M2 for less money would probably be the best move, but the black one does look nice. will have to wait for the benchmarks/reviews to make a decision ig
How are we affected by the “memory bandwidth” going down from 200 to 150? Just curious

from my understanding there’s technically less performance cores in exchange for more efficiency cores
tech people get stuck on numbers but in real world scenarios 99% of people would not see a difference in performance (other than an increased battery life on M3)
for the people that it does are probably going with the Max anyways
but probably cutting back also helped offset the cost of shifting to 3nm which brings a performance/efficiency boost while providing ray-tracing (a first for Mac) and dynamic caching
so really comparing spec sheets isn’t ideal
copped 14 inch m3 pro with 18 GB ram, pretty excited to get it
Fire
Theyre specs are so random but probably to outdo the competitors
scary fast was actually referencing the event runtime
Lmfao

if these Macs didn’t last a long time I’d never buy.
had a 15 inch i7 MBP from 2015 until late 2021 so I cannot complain about the prices, the hardware holds up well.
Wish Apple would keep some of the other M1 & M2 Macbooks on the website like they do the older iPhones. Not all of us about to shell out four grand on a laptop
Any help is appreciated, tech issues

Upgraded my 2015-era Macbook Air to a midnight 2022 M2 Air and I'm really enjoying it so far. The weight and overall design is insane.
Am I the only thinking its not that bad to have a iPhone rebrand?
I don’t think saying you have a iPhone 17-18 is gonna be good anymore idk
Isn’t it pretty easier to call it the year it came out on?
The 2024 iPhone
The 2027 iPhone
I don’t know, just a thought
