Yeah I currently have had mine for around 2 years and this s*** still doesn't make a sound, I do Android Development too which is very CPU intensive and can barely hear it compared to when I had my Intel Macbook. Some real witchcraft going on with these laptops

s*** is crazy fr, changed completely the standard for laptops.

I get to work on some windows laptops now from time to time and they sound like jet engines just booting up.

Thinking about picking up a refurb 14" M1 MBP. Have had a 13" 2017 MBP for over 6 years now (which is honestly insane for me to think about lol). Don't necessary need one since my 2017 is just fine, but my mom is still rocking a 2012 or 2013 and I'm pretty sure that's the only computer my parents have in their house Going to be a matter of time before that kicks to bucket, so I kinda feel the need to get a new one and just give my old one to my mom.

Also potentially thinking of swapping back to iPhone after like 6 or so years when the 15 drops

There’s a weird rumor going around stating that the Pro Max to Ultra name change (which is technically a rumor itself) isn’t actually a name change at all but a whole different phone which will have even better camera features than the Pro Max, more RAM and up to 2TB of storage.

I hope it isn’t true.

Seems like they’re going to start the Ultra name this year and slowly begin to differentiate that model from the regular-sized Pro a little more. This year with the periscope lens, next year possibly with its own unique design. The price will creep up alongside that differentiation, and it’ll get more people to buy their most expensive iPhone and raise ASP. It’s really smart, honestly
