These shipping times are wild. Apple doesn't give a f*** if you have to wait for these products for 4 months. Just as long as those preorders are in smfh

well recently at one of the manufacturing plants they use to make macs literally every single worker left so they don’t really have a choice in shipping times right now

I gotta ask something
I remember when the Apple chip thing was announced and all the excitement about how it'll be cheaper because no Intel and whatnot
How do you explain a
$1100-1300 (depending on where u live) 8/256 M1 MacBook Air
I'm genuinely curious on the creative excuse this time.
Because it seems to me they always care about profits and nothing else
I remember seeing speculations and rumours of $800-900 Airs before the M1 even launched just because of the hype overall and how cheaper it would be since it's their own chip
What happened now, how you gonna spin this as fans?

Apple people don't care about price like that, end of story

the M1 Air has always been $899 for students and $999 for non-students so it was cheaper than the last Intel Air ($1299 on launch) I even saw it on sale for $799 last year when supply was plentiful
this M2 Air is more because
1) TSMC raised prices cause insane demand for 5nm
2) higher end display
3) inflation / supply issues
4) Apple is probably taking advantage of the supply issues to raise prices, if it’s gonna be out of stock might as well charge more..
if this was an Intel Air it would be $1499 I imagine

That's why I asked cause all of that seems over now but before the initial chip dropped it's all that mattered
