I was very outgoing and attention seeking as a child though so idk if I fit the profile that well. I went to a psychologist all throughout elementary school for being annoying and they apparently never thought to diagnose me with anything
I was an annoying person my first few years of highschool and developed a lot of shame from thinking back on what I was like when I expressed myself freely
Same, until middle school where I ended up getting seen as annoying and bullied. That’s where my social anxiety started developing really.
It’s just her though. Every dog has his day. plus our relationship has zero depth, we can barely hold a text conversation
Obv idk you like that so I could be wrong, but based on the way you post I’d be really surprised if you were on the spectrum.
You’re too self aware when it comes to social situations and relationship building. Too aware of “relationships lacking true depth”, of lulls in conversation and what you perceive to be your social shortcomings.
You struggle deeply with your anxiety and you let it convince you that there’s so many things wrong with you. You find it difficult to hold conversations because you’ve developed a very pessimistic outlook of the world and you lack any kind of confidence in yourself.. I know people f*** with you a lot on here because you’re always so down, but I think it’s good you’re getting these thoughts out somewhere. Hopefully soon, you reach a point where you can start to turn things around for yourself.

While I’m not disputing what you’re saying to that poster, I should say that autism isn’t a monolith and austistic people can be very self aware of their shortcomings.
