I like aot that much for the same reason I love tokyo ghoul
there's no ''bad'' and ''good'' fixed in place for people to cheer for
both of these manga have characters with many flaws, mistakes, gruesome acts but at the same time they have honor, dignity and self-reservation instincts
For as long I've been reading manga I've found it dull to support good guys or bad guys...thats where series like aot come in and deliver greatness
I'm not going to spoil anything but the problem of aot fans since s1 all the way to the latest season is that people look for characters or ideals they can place themselves and beliefs in
if you can appreciate aot as a well written show supported through the hard work of everyone from isayama to the studios making it with apathy then its a 10/10 masterpiece
I know some people made their fan endings so im led to believe part of the fanbase is mad their theories werent true or something like that but this is just baseless speculation on my part. Im kinda interested in reading the discourse surrounding it but that will have to wait for next yearπ

I envy anime onlys cause u guys get to see aot at its best with music, colors and cinematography.
fan endings are cool and all since there's work put in em but ive seen ppl callin it better and in my humble opinion that's like insulting the og creator

Fan endings to me are the same tier as fanfiction so i tend to stay far away from those, but with aot im def gonna check them out out of curiosity lol

makes sense. I just have a photographic memory and dont want to spoil myself tbh

Yeah me too, still wondering how i managed to avoid any ending spoilers to this day
Yeah the thing to me is when you keep such a consistent high quality throughout the story and become so iconic the ending doesnt even matter all that much at that point. Like berserk will never end or if it does it will never be what the author truly wanted but i think we can all agree it is and will be a masterpiece. Even vagabond and hxh if we never get an ending they're still great works. Maybe that's just me tho, i tend to value the journey more than the destinato especially if that journey was great and memorable
Highschool of the dead will never end either :,)

lol I wasnt able to avoid certain chapter spoilers but at the last 10-20 chapters I unfollowed all anime yt channels and powered through it
Like, bro, the video titles were huge spoilers. You would've had to read the chapters not one second late after they were available online

IMO AOT's characters were never that good so idk what they expected
that being said I'm not a manga reader
Speaking of bad ending I probably wouldn't recommend an anime with a bad second season like Psycho Pass
Unless you don't have to watch it to end the story (i.e. Steins;Gate)

B******, nana, possibly real, list is endless haha

Those f***ers are the worst they know what they're doing putting spoilers all throughout the thumbnails, but luckily i removed from my recommended all aot content beforehand so youtube's dumbass algorithm would stop recommending me those videos

To me psycho pass ends with season one

what made me grow attached to them was simply the fact they're soldiers that went through a lot
for example in season 1 we get introduced to 15+ soldiers that dont seem like ''cannon fodder'' and 4 minutes later 10 of are eaten by titans
that was like ''fuck plot armor, anyone can die''
To me psycho pass ends with season one
What about The Promised Neverland?

''dont recommend channel'' and ''delete watch history''
I've been there fam lmao

I would truly feel that way if a main character died but none of them did
That being said maybe side characters got focus in the manga I dunno

I'll read the manga hoping its better than whatever season 2 was (shouldnt be hard to do). I know tpn also has a bad reputation for its final chapters but as long as its better than season 2 im cool with that, ive never been a big fan of the series

Lmfaoooo yup

for the first 2 seasons there were only 3 characters u could call untouchable

I haven't watched S2 but from what I've heard yes the manga ending is better and idk why they f***ed it up so much

Eren, Mikasa, Armin will never die unless it's the ending (I believe Eren might die)
Levi wouldn't die because he's a fan favorite neither will Hange
Sasha dies but I didn't care I sounded really mean in the voice chat that day

Idk really, they condensed the rest of the story in 1 season for some reason, maybe it was a committee decision although i dont understand the reasoning behind it

I'm not talking in retrospect
I'm talking bout how the plot played out in my head as I was watching aot for the first time
Levi could die in the same fashion erwin did and armin was literaly dead
even mikasa could be the typical ''she dies so he gets serious'' but thats a stretch
