Violet Evergarden is the last movie of the trifecta I was anticipating (heaven’s feel and mugen train were the other 2)... hopefully that appears on the usual sites soon... that one might make me tear up

Space Dandy - 8/10

Space Dandy was fun, and a big reason behind that is due to the space setting giving each episode director the freedom to do whatever they envision. Their imagination can run wild as they craft entire worlds to be the perfect setting for the story they want to tell, and that imagination was on display throughout the series as the show jumped from concept to concept: a documentary about zombies, a race in space, a high school musical, a murder trial, the show had it all.

The show didn't just have variety in concepts, it also had variety in directing styles. Each episode oozes with the style and personality of its episode director (it was pretty damn easy to realize I was watching a Masaaki Yuasa directed episode within the first few minutes of seeing it.) Space Dandy was the ultimate creators' playground.

Bonus: The show had some insane animation, whether it was action sequences or character acting.

Any good completed manga around 10 - 15 volumes long? Tryna start collecting some newer series, currently collecting chainsaw man, Jujutsu and Hell's Paradise rn

Chainsaw man really weird lol. The plot is really simple but the chapters feel so disjointed. Characters are no help either. Main guy is the only ray of sunshine in this series so far
