they're not canon and their purpose is to give more towards world-building while the fans wait for new material inbetween seasons

but the 2nd movie in particular is really good imo and def worth watching.

I watched a YT doc last night on how hard animators work and all that goes on in the background cause I didnt know s*** and cot damn s*** was inhumane....I always kinda knew they be working hard but I didnt imagine it was like that.....even construction workers have set breaks and I've heard that in japan no one works a second later after their break or stops working a second earlier and I thought that was just good work ethic......the animators part tho doesnt make sense, like, why have someone eat/sleep/shit on the job when they can instead get proper rest and be more productive??? and when I started watching this doc I thought ''that must be for an anime no one's ever heard of or some misc studio''......but it was f***ing naruto (a show with literaly hundreds of fillers). Then I started thinking ''maybe it's cause anime is otaku culture'' but after some searching I did I found out anime is a huge asset to the japanese economy and has been like that not since the 2000s or 2010s when it hit the west but since the mecha-centered classics of the 80s. Maybe it seems weird to me cause of the culture gap between the west and japan.....anyways...

I'm just typing my thoughts rn and the sad part is that no matter how hard these people ''work'' all everyone cares about(myself included) is the final product. IT IS WHAT IT IS
