Definitely a unique anime. Really accurate about social anxiety and depression. Usually anime loves to be melodramatic about these themes, and while NHK did feel melodramatic sometimes it felt real and relatable too. First and only time I’ve seen anime do dramedy and black humor.

Another thing I like about it is that it doesn’t feel like some sort of escape either. You actually take something from watching Satou and see that sometimes there’s no easy way out. Plus I love how much energy the voice actors have. It’s pretty funny when satou and yamazaki argue when making their galge
