Shonen jump =/= kids anime. Devilman being the biggest and most important example. Nobody is saying its not shonen, it would be objectively wrong saying that, we're saying its not typical kid shonen because it delves into more serious topics

I wouldn't say its not aimed at kids just because it tackles more serious topics. Hugtto! PreCure has topics such as motherhood and raising a child, but its still a kids show. I still think HxH is for the most part a kids show, though I will acknowledge that HxH did start moving away from being a kids show after it moved into a late night time slot instead of early weekends.
