Such a cute finale for My Dress Up Darling!

As usual I like their little dates and I guess the entire episode was a date for them. The fireworks scene was beautiful and felt like a scene for the final episode, even though the episode didn't resolve anything.

Overall thoughts about this anime: it's better than what I initially expected. I thought it was going to be a stupid fan service self insert seasonal romcom, and while that's what it is, it has a lot of charm, it's comforting, I like and ship the main couple, and most importantly it's memorable. The theme of cosplaying is interesting and the way it brings them together feels genuine.

I don't really mind the fan service, but I do think they pushed it in some episodes, and it's really funny to me that in anime there can be a lot of fan service but they're scared to actually make the main characters kiss or hug or touch each other.

I also would've liked it to have more "plot" for the main relationship but I guess it's fine for what it is. A season or two of just them hanging out and having sexual tension can be pretty nice. Although it would be interesting if something actually happened.

Btw main guy should've had more drip by the end.

Im not someone who complains about fanservice too much but it got lowkey exhausting in dress up darling. Still a nice show though!

Only times fan service gets exhausting to me is when it feels off like in Fire Force or is straight up pedophilic like No Game No Life
