Looks like another one of those shonen carried by the fights / visuals over the story
The reason i like HXH, FMAB, AOT etc is because they had good stories as well as dope visuals

All the reasons why it is so popular, not just fights/visuals.That’s just how i see season 1, nothing major from the characters except for the three most important ones (yuji,summoner guy,nails girl) the teacher is just there to be the OP guy, the other characters don’t get enough screen time to feel like good characters. None of the villains stood out and the world building in S1 is meh, so many things yet to be explained.
