OP/ED too important to the identity of the show to skip. Couldn't imagine the recontextualization of the Bakemonogatari ED hitting as hard in episode 12 if I hadn't been watching it beforehand. Also something like Madoka's ED change after the tonal shift is important in setting the emotional stage for people to process the new direction of the show.

Eeeeeh. Not all the time. Sometimes it's just a mid ass commercial.

I do appreciate when a OP/ED updates or interacts with a shows plot, but that's 30% of the time

I'm not saying you have to watch 'em every single episode, but always skipping the OP/ED is crazy work. They add so much to the experience.

That feeling when an OP/ED teases things you're yet to discover, and then you rewatch em and make the connection

Or the feeling when a really emotional episode plays, and the songs adds weight to the experience

If the songs good I don't skip either one

DeDeDeDe was pretty amazing
So good I couldn't stop watching. Writing, story and characters were fantastic. Just the ending was unfortunately a little rushed, flesh that out to 24 eps and it could've gone down as a classic.

decided to start rewatching Grand Blue after the S2 announcement, and holy s***, i forgot how funny this show was. the predicaments that Iori finds himself in mixed in with the exaggeratedly drawn faces is an insane combo. this would have been my fav anime from that season if it weren't for Asobi Asobase airing at the same time.
