No you're right on that, I was talking more about my level of what a "heavy" topic is for a show. Whether that would be about violence or just the topic of ideologies being pushed against another. I can see why the whole genocide s*** can turn some people off.
oh then yea AOT is pretty tame in that regard tbh i just dont think isayama did a great job of explaining that
Hey, akiba maids is the underdog show this season. Try to enjoy the Yakuza level antics for fun lol
Nobody who comments s*** like “boring slice of life” or “bullshit maid show” actually watches the anime, they just pretend they do or are openly ignorant about content they haven’t even tried to enjoy
Anyway aot is a good anime u guys dont have to s*** on other shows and fellate isayama to prove that its okay.
How come none of them notice they're in the cutest date
Edit: Just realized it's a meme, I don't care
Suzume no Tojimari probably my 2nd favorite Shinkai film. Pretty solid all around and nothing to ruin the story like in Tenki no Ko lol
the reason why i bring up AOT's ending so much and why it kills AOT's interest for me is because it's one of the rare cases (at least from all the mangas that i've read) where it's ending changes the entire outcome of the series and not in a good way either.
when i was reading AOT up until the timeskip i thought eren's aspiration for freedom, the worldbuilding, and characters like erwin, hange, levi, and pre-time skip armin were compelling, but after seeing where all of that lead to, it soured the entire experience for me. if you think my reasoning for why boiling AOT down to that is shallow then its probably because i think the writing itself from that point onward is pretty shallow. especially eren and his sudden heel turn
Oh don't get me wrong I agree Isayama rushed the ending and that there was a big decline in the writing.
But I don't think the end of the manga is as devoid of meaning as many people assume. In a story full of titans and magical or even divine powers, the biggest threat to humanity turned out to be humanity itself. And this of course reflects our very own reality. The ending is bleak and implies a cycle of destruction, but the story also reminds us of the importance of breaking chains/cycles. Perhaps this message was only enhanced by the ending. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it. Regardless, it wasn't 100% worthless to me.

This is encouraging to hear
What’s your favorite from him?
Personally I see 5 cm as his best but Your Name and Garden of Words are fantastic as well. Rest of his I don’t care for
Just finished part 6 of jojo and f*** am I confused
My understanding is Pucci's power basically accelerated time to the point that the universe ended and was reborn anew. The new world is very similar to the old one but also different in important ways like this world's Jolyne dating this world's Anastasia instead of Romeo, Weather Report hitchhiking for whatever reason, and Ermes's sister never being killed so none of them ended up in prison. Those that somehow didnt die during that relatively fast transition from universe-to-universe (seems to be those with potential for or have stands) took the place of their doppelganger (time travel paradox rules) when Pucci stopped his power to hunt Emporio. This whole event spawns a new JoJo timeline that starts with Steel Ball Run (edit: wrong about this last part).
I hope the vagabond continuation will be in 2023

Part 7 and onwards is just like a hard reboot in it's own universe. No correlation to Part 6, completely separate continuities.
