real for Kids on the Slope
I love Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo's my childhood but Kids on The Slope is peak Watanabe
New hibike soundtrack, we are so back
Idc if it's recap movies or whatever hibike really restores the faith
I tried the first chapter of MAD and it looks kinda meh. Think I'll just stick with the Bugle Call...
new grappler baki was dope. i accidentally took like a 3 month break from reading it but i got back into it the other week and just finished it. i think baki the grappler had better fights overall but i really liked the focus on baki's personal growth and his relationship with kozue in new grappler. unfortunately there's only s***ty translations available for hanma baki, so i'll have to switch to the anime, which sucks cause i absolutely love itagaki's art style and paneling. there's so many awesome page turns and his characters just ooze style. i'm sure the anime is good but i'll miss reading it

I am about to finish Grappler Baki. Already solidified for me as one of the best Battle Shonen. The mix of batshit stuff with martial arts just appeals to me
I'm late af but

You watched Touch? You on another level
I recommend Rough also by Adachi if you haven't read it already. Its his best imo and can be read in like two days
My all time favorite is actually Slam Dunk but I didn't want any repeats.
