ye is a rich piece of s*** but i’m not reading anything in this article that hasn’t been said before
yeezus alienated fans
he started raising eyebrows with confederate flags
why doesn’t this guy make a more forward thinking piece about the attraction people have towards a figure like ye? what is it about ye that keeps people coming back? maybe it’s a thirst for “authenticity” ina. growing my sterilized modern culture, that leaves little room for personal growth
now i’m not saying we should give forgiveness for a 50+ year old man to grow up. but this article refuses to engage in any meaningful way. it just rehashes the same things we’ve known ab ye for years.
at what point do we question, what is it about american culture that allows for a figure like Ye to continue making millions. what is it about Ye’s vitriol that reflects the desires and contradictions that underpin modern american culture ?
ye is only but a mirror of a larger cultural breakdown that’s happening, and this guy failed to really go anywhere with this article.
He has actually wrote about many of these different aspects regarding many different artists who have done or continue to do s***ty thing.
He's done it with Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, R Kelly, and I believe this is the second time he's done a write up about Kanye and his fans.
Someone told me for NYT articles all you have to do is add a period after the com like “com.” & it removes the paywall
Crazy it works
Ur kidding me I can’t believe this worked
He's done one of these write-ups breaking down the new kinda fans an artist has these days with Drake too. People were still crying.
Ultimately, y'all ain't mad at bro for writing about the weirdo fans. Y'all are mad that some of y'all pretty much are the weirdo fans.
they reacting to this how pedophiles reacted to seeing themselves in the files
This Jonny joestar avi is scary
Netflix needs to drop episode 2
this article does not motivate me to read his other writing but i’d love to be proven wrong, humbled, and inspired by his work
check out his substack, i haven’t seen an article of his i’ve disagreed with yet
idk i just feel like kanye discourse atp is so overstretched
like simply what else is there to talk about in regards to ye
for better and for worse, he’s laid out his entire life on the line and i just feel like long ass op-ed’s like this are at the point of self masturbatory
Posting an article expecting KTT to read it instead of saying something snarky is
Posting with a paywall when no one trying to pay for that
u haven't even read his work nigga shut up
his work is often lazy. i remember his take down öf travis scott was just s*** people said by rodeo era. these modern day writers are awful. chatgpt articles using tweets from private accounts
Only if you a smooth brain fan of someone he wrote about
No its cause hes weird and bias while trying to come across as unbias.

Is it "bias", or just not being a d***rider? Because if you're going to attempt to claim he's biased against Drake, he has often wrote articles giving Drake props for his success and catalog. Even has defended him on some occasions when other artists have discredited him.
