When Kim walks up to get a Cinnabon on the finale
Honestly the Kim/Jimmy love story is GOAT
I absolutely agree. I sort of remember people feeling this way during Breaking Bad.. especially The Fly episode lol, I'll never forget watching the reactions live. People were losing their minds.
It's just a polarizing show, I trust them to do it right. They've never let me down, even with El Camino. I wish they would have made it a mini series instead of a movie though, that's my only gripe.
BCS, BB & EC are going to be one of the best universes in cinematic history when it's all said and done.
yeah everyone was saying similar things during that first half of BB season 5, for memory - off the top of my head I remember that "51" episode especially having people react like "THIS is the final season?? should have ended it with gus being killed last year, perfect way to wrap it up" and s***
if the last few episodes totally slap, some of the mfers talking about treading water at the moment are gonna be acting like they never doubted the show in a year or two

Absolutely, that's why I just laugh at the fans, I can always tell who's been here from the beginning and have had to truly suffer during S5 and 6 of BB. Niggas were having whole mental breakdowns and s*** lol.

especially when there was that wholeass year almost between season 5A and 5B
"THEY REALLY LEFT US WITH A SCENE OF HANK ON THE TOILET??"

Have you been following the BCS IG? They've been leaving a hell of a lot of Easter eggs and red herrings, it's kinda crazy lol
Yeah, montages are totally out of the ordinary for this show
The bad faith…There’s a difference between a montage of Mike doing something or Jimmy plotting a scam and three minutes of Howard making coffee. And I didn’t even say montages were new, my argument was that they were using their usual excellence at craft to build useless, filler sequences.
Season 5 of BB was bad too. A and B. At least, BCS doesn’t have neo-Nazis to fill the void of Gus. So I don’t know yet if BCS should have ended a season earlier, but the last three episodes were rough.

Reach? Cool either way. The first frame is from Cliff’s perspective btw right before he gives her that opportunity.

There was a lot of power within the nuanced implications of those three minutes of coffee-making, though.
Howard has been constantly torn apart and antagonized by Jimmy and Kim over the last year or so - hookers at breakfast, smashing his Jaguar with a bowling ball, cocaine at the club locker, etc. All this bullshit that he's got to deal with on top of the immense guilt that he was shown to have over Chuck's death - we saw how distraught he was over that to begin with.
Anyway, so he's an a******, but has also been going through some s***. You see him in his luxurious abode, what's supposed to be the one place where nobody can put him down or f*** with him, where he can have peace. He puts an inordinate amount of time and meticulous, careful effort into crafting a morning cup of coffee for his wife, with a nice design inscribed into it.
And his wife doesn't give a s***. Within five seconds she takes his carefully crafted masterpiece and pours it into her thermos, spilling parts of it all over the counter. The time was all for nothing, the design is ruined, his counter is messy, and his wife is completely devoid of emotion and doesn't give two s***s about him. Howard is down, and loses once again.
It's an important three minutes.
Everything in this universe is built up slowly to be torn down rapidly. Don't you guys get that yet?

I gotta agree, it's insane how well made it is

Like Gus spending twenty-five minutes being stressed out in episode 4 and 5: this is redondant about Howard. Even the whole thing about the bookers. And I must say that BCS pivoting to Howard in the last stretch is also a sign that all the better stories are over.

And to top all of that off, if the caffeine-aversion theories play out as darkly as it seems they might, then that coffee making scene is going to work on multiple levels in hindsight.

I've been enjoying this show for the last seven years, so I'm sorry if any criticism of what's actually airing makes your brain damage even more severe than it is. Ask your flashlight to suck your d*** to relieve the tension.

A flashlight sucking d*** is a wild thing to say at 6:30 in the morning

genuine question: did you think the opening scene of season 6 - where they showed Saul's place being taken apart - was also redundant?
The scene where it shows the tequila cork and the coded black book

I thought the imagery was cliché; I was mostly disappointing that it didn't follow the logic of starting a season with the "future", but I'm starting to think that the last half of season 6 will be in the future...and that Kim, therefore, isn't dead during Breaking Bad (because you don't have a show without Kim at the moment).
Man I’ve been thinking about it all day and I have no f***in idea what is gonna happen next episode
